Microprocessed control system for locomotives BR231/BR232


BR231

PURPOSE


Control complex (CC) is designed for controlling locomotives with electrotransmission of alternating-constant current along the system of two units. The complex includes high-volt chamber (HVC) and panel console (PC).

 
 
The following control functions have been realized in the control complex (CC):
  • choosing the leading cabin and leading section;
  • pumping fuel;
  • pumping oil;
  • diesel start and stop;
  • êdiesel control;
  • diesel rotation rate control;
  • main generator excitation;
  • excitation control;
  • forming external features of generator;
  • electrotransmission reverser control;
  • load control (traction mode);
  • traction mode control;
  • switching the stages of weakening the field;
  • electrodynamic brake control;
  • sand delivery control
  • fire alarm
  • protection against slip (three types of slip);
  • compressor control;
  • fans and blinds control;
  • protection of power circuits;
  • diagnostics and keeping archives of errors

DESIGN FEATURES

PU of a diesel locomotive is realized on the basis of the central processor unit of firm Îctagon Systems (AMD586 - 133 MHz).

For communication with other diesel locomotives the duplicated half-duplex channels of an exchange with galvanic use Outcome on the basis of interface RS485.

PU continuously supervises cutoff failure, short circuit and correct overcurrent release of final control devices.

Block architecture PU allows to build complexes with necessary quantity discrete and analog input/outputs.

The developed monitoring system and diagnostics (with a terminating connection of the necessary information to display PU) allows to define in short terms faulty components PU and HVC.

All mistakes arising during work are logged (with the instruction of date and time) in magazine (file) mistakes.

The opportunity of updating of system constants with PU (the keyboard and the display) allows if necessary To trim characteristics ÑÑ under a concrete diesel locomotive without change of the software.

KU can be adapted under any type of a diesel engine.

ÑÑ is mounted on eight diesel locomotives of type Ò109 of Lugansk manufacture (Old name V300, after modernization W232). They have on the railways of Germany maintained successfully since 2001 up to the present.
